Who are we?

We are a volunteer organization that is committed to combating animal suffering. One of the ways we achieve this goal is by sterilizing. Under the motto: every underprivileged animal that is not born cannot suffer! We have been doing this important work since 1997 in countries such as Costa Rica, Greece, Bosnia, Bonaire, Curaçao, Thailand and Bosnia.

Our help
We set up sterilization projects and help other organizations improve an animal shelter. We are working on better animal legislation for the islands of Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire to replace old legislation. Animals and their well-being are of paramount importance to us. We don't let animals suffer and we don't look away. Every animal fate is close to our hearts.

Local Vets
We work with local veterinarians, precisely because they know the local situations well. Moreover, they speak the right language and know what motivates people to come with their animal. We help street animals through the TNR approach. Trap Neuter Return, with the guarantee that no more offspring will follow.

Volunteers
The Animal Aid Foundation works and consists of volunteers. We do not employ highly paid directors and are not housed in expensive offices. We think it is extremely important that every donation is spent for its intended purpose. We have already been able to help tens of thousands of animals to a better future, and we will continue to do so because it is so desperately needed. We are not a large organization and can use support from real animal lovers. Because every day we need food, medication, treatments and housing. If you want to give these animals a fair chance at a dignified existence, we hope you will support our volunteer work. On behalf of the weakest members of a society, thank you for that.

We do not receive any subsidy from any government for our volunteer work. We are able to do all this work thanks to the help of animal lovers. That's why you're so important, because every donation, big or small, makes a difference to an animal. And saving one animal doesn't change the whole world. But we do change his or her whole world. Stichting Dierenhulp is a non profit, we do not have directors that way all donation will be used for helping animals in need. Spay campaigns are our main targets. Each year we prevent animals been born in a world where they do not stand a chance. Help is needed to keep on doing what we do, and prevent animal suffering in many places. By saving one animal we don’t change the whole world, But we do change this animals world!
